There Goes the Train

I have always loved going by this railway station with its amazing architect. Now, it will soon be nothing but a memories. At least at the old location in Tanjong Pagar. The new railway station is going to be located to woodlands, where I will not be able to go. Hope that at least it will look something like the one that has stood in Tanjong Pagar for so long. I mean, after all its heritage. And it does brings back awesome memories. The food, the people, the warmth.
Here are some pics, not by me since I dun usually bring my camera there.
I always loved this pillars with the awesome statues.
Liked being around this area cause its windy and you can smell the awesome aroma of food from the hawkers

I have never actually taken the train ride to anywhere before. Well, I have never ride a train. But I have always this fascination of it. I don't know exactly why, but train rides gives me the feeling of something warmth and rustic, soothing and dynamic at the same time. It's had to express and especially in words.
Saw this picture on part of the route it goes by. I think what is so remarkable is that you get to see this near to the buildings in Singapore. It seems so far , like some suburban out of town area yet so close because it is just lying there, hidden, of course until the train comes.
I wonder what is going to happen to the rails.
Oh well, we will have to wait and see.
But honestly, I did be happy to take the train, guess i will never get the chance again.
But I don't think I will ever take it to KL, I mean, I have taken enough coaches and 7 hours is just too long.

My mum brought me out that day to parkway, me and my cousin. Went shopping, had a fun time with ice-creams and stuff... finally some life.
Anyways, me and my cousin saw this online, we wanted to go get one like it but apparently fail :( Oh well
Hmm.... haven't been Bugis street for sometime. Hoping that maybe our kingdom will be free soon. Hopefully after CTs, then I will personally drag the queen , joker and llama out XD

Came across this picture and I have a huge craving for sushi now. Though I can't eat them T_T sad TTM
Hmm... Maybe I shall share this simple recipe. My teacher shared it with us many many years back when I was 11. And I made it before, it is REALLY AWESOME. I was reminiscing about my primary school years when I came across it again.
Ingredients:
4 cups of Japanese rice
5 cups of water
2 teaspoons sugar
4 tablespoon of mirin (Jap brand)
8 Tablespoons rice vinegar (Jap Brand)
Cucumber
Carrot
Sausages
Crab sticks
Mayonnaise
Seaweed ( Jap brand) *those huge rectangular ones*
Try to get Jap brand as they are made for sushi and will taste better ( according to my teacher)
Method:
- Cook the rice with 2 teaspoons of salt and 5 cups of water
- Mix 2 teaspoons of sugar, 4 tablespoons of Mirin and 8 tablespoons of Rice Vinegar together
- After the rice is cooked, add the mixture in and stir the rice under a fan (this is to allow the rice to cool quickly so that it is easier to wrap it later)
- Place the seaweed pieces on a sushi map ( if you have one. Otherwise a plate or clean chopping board will do) and place some rice on top. (add the other ingredients like sausages -your preferences actually) and roll the whole thing up.
- Cut it and ta-da- simple home-made sushi is serve :D

I learnt my lesson, NEVER EVER watch a show when you miss the most of the front episodes cause it really won't make sense. Especially a sci-fi show that keeps teleporting to the future. Seriously, I think that mugging is easier than following the plot :P Oh well.... at least I am "entertained"
Hmmm.... Vacation is over T_T This is sad, considering that my vacation is kinda boring. BUT on a brighter side of things, had a great time cause I didn't do anything productive. NOTHING IS THE CORRECT WORD. I, HAVE BEEN, DOING, N-O-T-H-I-N-G, NOTHING!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. AND I am feeling downright proud of it XD ***thought not all the catching up I am gonna need to do T_T***
Oh well. That is beside the point. I shall saviour today and do as I want. No point crying over spilt milk. Shall leave today like no tomorrow. *No this is not self comforting, is looking at the bright side*

Hahas, I just simply have no idea what to name my entries, cause I am always posting random stuffs
How's everyone? Hope everything has been great !!! Great vacation, great time , many many unforgettable memories XD
Just helping my mum clear out the whole pile of junk under my desk just now. Came across the art pieces etc I did when I was young. Hahas, looking back at it, can't help but feel kinda ... old... I mean.... well.... that was a looooong time ago wasn't it? At least it seems like it.
Noticed that I had a few incomplete pieces of work... hmmm.... should probably sit myself down one of these day and finish those things that I have started. Seems like a pity to abandon them halfway.
Sigh, I wish Tuesday would be here sooner.... can't wait to go and see the doc ( No this is not me being a sadist) . I want to get the stupid stitches and the plasters off... It is annoying. I am feeling so suffocated. I feel kinda sad not being able to practice my piano or my viola... missing the feeling of actually practising it. How pathetic. I miss a lot of stuffs ... eggs for example :) Can't wait to get myself into the kitchen and actually cook up some nice dishes with lots of eggs... and cheese :P Mum's think my taste for food is apparently bizarre since no one in my family actually likes cheese. Well, who cares XD
I gave up on being studious. Well at least I know I can safely say that I attempted to do it. Well, only geog BUT it's better than nothing :) Who cares about the summation of n when the summation of happiness in one month is much much much much more important :) I can clearly differentiate my stuffs :)
Jokes aside, It's Father's Day today.

Hahas, No I am not hungry... not really, just that I have this craving. Hmm... I haven't have ice-cream for almost a fortnight. Sigh... what I want is choco-mint ice cream. Hmmm.... sshall just post pics of nice food today XD

YIPEE I am finally home XD
Hmm.... been a tought week for me, one think I learnt about myself is that I really had been bounded to the bed, never knew it was going to bother me that much but apparently, it really sucks
And I am completely sick of fish porridge, I am NOT going to eat fish porridge for at least a year ... well unless the fish porridge is really nice.
Sigh, feel so comfy to be home and having the attention to myself :P hehe, me want ice cream actually... hope I can persuade my mum to get me some, hopefully if I can talk clearly.
Been a long week, hmmm, feel grateful actually, about many things. Hate to have to worry my mum but oh well, I can't help it. Looks like I just lost weight. CRAP THIS REALLY SUCKS
Hmm.... Hehe, I am blood group A after all, So interesting. The doctor was like trying to explain to be why I had to be A or O ... so funny.... sigh, I seriously don't think I want to go back there for a loooooooooooooooonnnngggg time yet.

Hahas, Kinda sad how far I have come--- no longer taking music anymore. Sigh....
I am desperately dying to do something creative. As in something involving my hands. Have this great urge to pick up a palette and brush and start painting. Or maybe bake something. I want to do it so badly that it is starting to feel like a need :( But then. I can't. That's the sad sad sad sad sad story of my life :(
Oh well, speaking of baking, I want to bake soon. Going to find a way to cram stuff on my mum's grocery list soon. Hahas. Hmmm, I shall make cream puffs or apple pie??? Wonders which will be more fun to make :D
